Not advice, no relationship

Nothing on compoundcoast is investment, tax, or legal advice, an endorsement of any security or strategy, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. The site is not your adviser and owes you no fiduciary duty. It is a set of educational calculators. Decisions about your own money should be made with a qualified professional who knows your full situation.

Estimates are ranges, not promises

Every output is a projection built from your inputs and third-party data as of stated dates. Results are presented as ranges — a low, a median, and a high — precisely because the future is uncertain. A range is a description of that uncertainty; it is not a guarantee that any particular outcome will occur.

As-of dating and sources

Each data field carries a source and an as-of date, shown on the tool. Year-dependent figures — tax brackets, contribution limits, ACA parameters, cost-of-living adjustments — carry an expiry, and the build fails when they go stale rather than presenting outdated numbers. Where law is unsettled, the affected inputs are flagged rather than treated as final.
